Online banking and credit card transactions are becoming more and more frequent which has led people to rely less on cash and checks as payment options. Having an online registration program that accepts credit card payments is necessary in today’s electronic world. It is efficient and convenient, but it can also be costly. Don’t forget to include the cost of merchant fees when determining what to charge as your registration fees.

If you aren’t set up yet for online credit card payments yet, there are quite ablack friday shopping few items to consider before selecting a merchant processing account. If you already have it set up, then consider reviewing these items every quarter to make sure you aren’t missing out on a better deal somewhere else.

I also believe that these things are exactly what make others stop and reflect on how fortunate they are.

Meetings: From the Attendee’s Perspective - part 2

In an earlier blog post from Site Solutions Worldwide, Megan Brouwer referenced Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and its relevancy to meeting planning. I can relate to this connection as a conference attendee.  Of course we register for educational conferences with the intention of gaining knowledge and learning something applicable to our current position. But have you ever listened to a speaker present “Stock Market Strategies” without drinking your first cup of coffee of the morning? This is a perfect example of how we like our basic needs to be fulfilled before we really begin to enjoy or actively participate in your conference or event. Sure, you can argue caffeine isn’t a basic need, but conference attendees like their morning coffee way too much for me to argue with them!
